 Eligibility Criteria

Education and Other Qualification:-  All the eligible aspirant can check their educational and other qualification on the hpsssb site  www.himchal.nic.in/hpsssb/



Age Limit:- The age of the Applicant's should be between 18 to 45 years on 01/01/2015 except for post code no. 428 and 432 for which age limit in between 21 to 40 year as on 01/06/2014.
Five years age relaxation for SC, ST , OBC, and others as per provision of relevant rules/ instruction of H.P. Govt.

Application Fee:-> Application forms are available in all the post offices of Himachal Pradesh.
The fee is included in the cost of Application form .
All the eligible applicant's have to pay Rs. 350 / for General  and Rs. 120/ for reserved categories.
Ex Servicemen and visually handicapped candidates are exempted from examination fees.

Selection Process:->  Selection Process will be based on the candidate's performance of the screening test and Interview.

Educational Qualification   = Candidates should possess B.Tech / BE in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / MCA Computer Science / IT /  with 60% marks for Post no:  I to IV.

Candidate who has passed in Professional Programme of Company Secretary but is yet become a member of ICSI or Candidate who are Members of ICSI for post no: VII .
Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering with 50% marks for post no: VIII and IX.
MA/ M.Sc in Geology with 50% marks for post no: X.
MA Sociology/ Masters in Social Work with 50% marks for Post no:XI.
Masters in Environment / Environment Science  for post no: XII.

Age Limit   =     Candidates age should be between -
(I) For Graduation/ PG Professionals 22 to 30 years
(II) For Diploma holders 18 to 24 years as on 01-09-2014. Age Relaxation as on the Govt. Rules.
